This review is from: Melissa & Doug Geometric Stacker (Toy)
I 1st saw this toy on-line, and thought it had been a requirement have for our daughter since she's very going in puzzles and stacking and things of that kind.
The idea is wonderful - 3 stackers in one, with varying levels of problem. the primary 2 are quite easy, and also the third needs somewhat a lot of ability and mental energy to piece back along properly.
So, we have a tendency to bought this for our daughter's 1st birthday, and it had been a hit! Even her noise-making over-stimulating toys were forgotten when she opened this one.
Why solely 3 stars? Well, a handful of things:
First the paint stuck along between the items - most importantly on the harder stack of the 3, and it had been quite arduous to seperate the items. after we finally did seperate them, a lot of of the paint was removed and transfered to the opposite items, and a lot of of the paint chipped off soon once with little or no play. Even non-toxic paint i would like she did not swallow in these quantities. i might have thought this was exclusive to our toy, however many different reviewers said identical factor.
Second - odd because it could sound - the 3 prongs sticking up worried me somewhat in terms of her falling on them. Since the bottom is broad, it does not overturn as simply because the single stacker. Since she is learning to run, she will tumble over an honest bit. perhaps a needless concern, however value mentioning.
Ultimately we have a tendency to came back this to the toy store and replaced i
